Using tradition to create something new.

Neil started painting murals over thirty years ago when he formed a design company that later expanded into architecture and interior design.

He has a wide interest in art and architectural history as well as traditional techniques in murals and tromp l’oeil. This has been at the foundation of his work and extends into his development of faux painted tapestries as well as portraiture and decorative art.

Working internationally in America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and the UK, Neil’s commissions have ranged in scale from royal palaces, hotels, city restaurants to small private apartments and houses.

His work has been featured in publications like Architectural Digest America and AD Germany, as well as CoteSud Magazine and Homes & Garden UK.  Lately it could be seen on the set of the Channel 4’s TV series “The Great”.

He adopts a collaborative approach when being commissioned for work which often develops into an ongoing iterative process.
